Job summary

Meadville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Cardiology/Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology teams. The role involves assisting physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures, admitting and discharging patients, and monitoring clinical status while documenting findings.

Applicants should have cardiology nursing experience, an active PA nursing license, and current BLS/ACLS. CCRN/RCIS is preferred, with on-site duties at Liberty Street Hospital in Meadville, PA.

Qualifications

Professional nursing knowledge normally acquired through an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum of one year adult acute care with cardiology/cardiovascular nursing.
Current BLS/ACLS; CCRN/RCIS preferred.
Current State Nursing License in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Assist cardiologist/radiologist in invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Admit, recover, and discharge patients from Cardiac Cath / Interventional Radiology Lab.
Monitor patient status and document observations accurately.
Develop and revise patient care plans as conditions change.
Ensure pre-op checklists are complete before catheterization lab procedures.
