Job summary

Windber Medical Center in Windber, PA seeks a Cardiovascular Interventional nurse to assist in the Cath Lab. The role includes aiding Cardiologists, preparing sterile trays, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety during PCI and related procedures. Requires PA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and Cath Lab experience; RCIS preferred.

The position is full-time, day shift, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth in a teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program with a minimum nursing diploma and PA RN license.
• RCIS preferred; BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 1–2 years Cath Lab and/or interventional radiology experience preferred; 2–3 years ICU and/or ED experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist in diagnostic invasive procedures.
• Scrub and assist during procedures; prepare sterile trays.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and administer medications as directed.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and perform routine safety checks.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure care.
• Maintain documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
