CHRISTUS Health in Alexandria, LA seeks a competent RN to provide routine and complex nursing care in a fast-paced setting. You will perform assessments, develop plans, administer medications and document care while guiding families through learning and coping.

The ideal candidate has a BSN preferred, 1 year CCU experience preferred or new graduates accepted, and an active BLS certification. ACLS required; RN license in Louisiana or compact is necessary.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in a Critical Care setting preferred, new graduates accepted
• RN license in state of employment or compact

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families
