Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Cath Lab RN to join our fast-paced cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate has ICU experience, an active CT RN license, and is capable of providing direct patient care during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures.

You will assist with prepping, monitoring, and documenting procedures, maintain sterile fields, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists. On-call availability within a 30-minute radius is required.

Qualifications

• Must have ICU experience.
• Cath lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult to geriatric patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, monitor during/after procedures, and document in EPIC.
• Maintain sterile field and coordinate with Cath lab team during procedures.
• Assist with on-call coverage and post-procedure care.
