Job summary

Harlingen Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse to ensure the safety and efficiency of cardiac procedures. Key responsibilities include assessing patients, assisting during interventions, and monitoring post-procedure stability.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing and an active RN license, as well as certifications in BCLS and ACLS. The position offers a full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts and an attractive sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• You must have RN experience in the Cath Lab or Critical Care area to qualify.
• One year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification upon hire is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prepare them for cardiac catheterization.
• Assist during procedures like angioplasties and cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients post-procedure for complications.
• Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Respond promptly to emergencies during procedures.
