Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse (Cath Lab RN) for full-time day shifts. The role involves assisting during angioplasties and other cardiac procedures, pre/post-procedure care, and documentation of patient care.

Eligible candidates have cath lab or critical care experience and an active RN license with ACLS/BLS current. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN license active in state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications current or to be maintained on hire.
• Minimum one year in Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prepare for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist cardiologists during angioplasties, stent placements, and studies.
• Monitor post-procedure patients and provide instructions.
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and monitors.
• Respond to emergencies during procedures and manage complications.
• Document care and outcomes for each patient.
• Stay updated on cardiac care advancements.
