POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cath Lab Resource Coordinator supports timely and accurate procedural case reconciliation, charge capture, inventory management, and supply utilization processes within Cardiovascular Services. This position serves as a key operational resource to ensure procedural documentation, supply charging, inventory workflows, and case completion activities are performed accurately and within established timelines to support compliant billing, revenue integrity, and uninterrupted procedural operations. The coordinator collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, technologists, Materials Management, and Revenue Cycle teams to improve workflow efficiency, maintain procedural readiness, reduce supply waste, and support departmental case closure goals.

EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional education/certifications in healthcare, business, logistics, supply chain or related field, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation systems, inventory systems, and/or charge capture processes.
  • Knowledge of medical or cardiovascular supply workflows, preferred.
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, interventional radiology, surgical services or other procedural environment.
  • Experience with Xper hemodynamic systems, procedural documentation systems, or inventory management systems.
  • Related experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, forecast inventory needs, analyze documentation for accuracy, communicate effectively, and collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular procedural workflows and inventory optimization practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently while supporting departmental priorities.
  • Use of usual and customary equipment needed to perform essential functions of the position.
