HCA Healthcare, at Medical City Lewisville, is interviewing for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse. The RN provides nursing care to patients undergoing cath procedures, assessing needs, planning and leading care while ensuring safety and a clean environment.

Requires orientation in Pre/Post Cath areas for adults and geriatrics. Qualifications include RN license, Associate Degree, ACLS/BLS within 30 days, and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• RN with an Associate Degree and active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required for this role.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cath lab procedures.
• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care for the procedure.
• Lead and ensure plan of care is carried out safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the cath lab and related areas.
• Demonstrate orientation and competency in Pre and Post Cath areas for adults and geriatrics.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing nursing care to the patient undergoing procedures. This process includes assessing the needs of each assigned patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs. Once planned, the RN is responsible for assuring that the plan of care is carried out through his/her performance and leadership. Such services are provided while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In addition the RN in the Cath Lab will have validated orientation and competency in Pre and Post Cath Areas and provide services to the adult and geriatric age groups.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
