Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing procedures. You will assess needs, plan care, and lead delivery to ensure safe, effective outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS/BCLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of experience with preference for Cath Lab exposure. The facility offers extensive education and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and ability to work in the Cath Lab.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications obtained or within 30 days of start date.
• 1 year of nursing experience required, Cath Lab preferred.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assess patient needs and plan appropriate nursing care.
• Lead care delivery and ensure plan of care is executed safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and support adult/geriatric patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing nursing care to the patient undergoing procedures. This process includes assessing the needs of each assigned patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs. Once planned, the RN is responsible for assuring that the plan of care is carried out through his/her performance and leadership. Such services are provided while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In addition the RN in the Cath Lab will have validated orientation and competency in Pre and Post Cath Areas and provide services to the adult and geriatric age groups.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree; BSN preferred
• No Travel Required
• 1 year of experience Required
