Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Cath Lab team providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing exams with precision, and evaluating images for quality while emphasizing radiation safety and patient advocacy.

The role requires Indiana licensure as a Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification; if not licensed upon hire, licensure must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Indiana as a Radiology Technologist and certified as a Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• If not licensed and certified upon hire, must obtain within six months of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
• Ability to independently manage time and priorities.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to use patient care skills to provide an exceptional experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique.
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor during exams.
• Perform radiologic exams with technical precision.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and radiation safety.
• Act as a patient advocate and ensure high-quality care for diverse populations.
• Maintain patient safety and proficient use of department equipment.
