Responsibilities include performing high-quality procedures, adhering to radiation safety standards, preparing patients, and documenting findings in PACS. 0–1 year of experience preferred; ARRT certification and state licensure required.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist.
• ARRT certification and state licensure required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA and participates in Image Gently/Wisely to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, identifies patients, and explains procedures.
• Cleans and maintains imaging equipment per infection control protocols.
• Scans and files documents into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare teams to support patient care.
• Inserts IVs for contrast injections when CT/MRI is performed.
• Maintains attendance and complies with policies.
