Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 20-week assignment in Illinois. The candidate should have Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience, an IEMA Radiography License Illinois, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Radiography (ARRT).

The role involves assisting in invasive procedures, administering contrast, venipuncture, patient preparation, documentation, and on-call duties. Expect 10-hour shifts during the day.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Must have IEMA Radiography License Illinois.
• Certifications include BLS, ACLS, Radiography (R) (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast material as requested by the physician.
• Perform venipuncture and place IV lines as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Assist the physician during invasive cardiology or radiology procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and manage inventory and supplies.
• Operate imaging and physiological monitoring equipment; basic troubleshooting.
• On-call duties and potential floating to other procedural areas.
