Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and support physicians in the cath lab.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. A Radiologic Technologist license and PALS/ENPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license preferred.
• PALS or ENPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Education

One year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT / RCES / RCIS certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Radiologic Technologist license (state)

PALS or ENPC certifications
