Community Health Systems in Dothan, AL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I for Cath Lab day shifts with call. The role focuses on obtaining diagnostic radiographs while prioritizing patient safety and comfort, in collaboration with physicians to support efficient patient care.

The essential duties include performing high-quality radiographic procedures, maintaining ALARA standards, patient preparation, and accurate documentation in PACS.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience
• ARRT certification and state license required
• BCLS within 30 days of hire required

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images
• Adheres to ALARA and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and explains procedures
• Maintains imaging equipment and infection control
• Documents in PACS and communicates with healthcare team
• Maintains regular attendance and policy compliance
