Job summary

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role supports physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures, delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

The position requires an associate degree in radiologic technology or related field, ARRT RT(R) certification, and BLS/ACLS. Schedule is full-time with on-call duties; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
• 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
• Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.
• Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
• Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the ARRT is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Assist with equipment setup and procedural preparations.
• Rotate to cover Cath Lab duties as needed.
