HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab team in O'Fallon, IL.

The role involves supporting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, operating fluoroscopy equipment, and ensuring sterile technique throughout procedures. We offer a 40-hour work week with day shifts, on-call and weekend rotation, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology or related certificate/training program.
  • 2 years of cath lab or interventional radiology experience.
  • Licensure as a Radiographer and ARRT certification required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and prepare/pass instruments and catheters.
  • Monitor patients and support physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Pay Range:

$32.58 - $48.87 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, helping deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with heart and vascular conditions.

In this role, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist assists physicians by operating fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and passing instruments, catheters, and other procedural supplies, and monitoring patients throughout procedures to support positive clinical outcomes. This position collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care across the cardiovascular procedural environment.

We are hiring Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists at Levels I, II, and III. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.

$34.21 - $51.31/hour

Education Qualifications

Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience Qualifications

2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.

Cross‑trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.

Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
