Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky seeks a Radiologic Technologist I for the Cardiac Cath Outpatient Lab. You will operate radiographic and viewing equipment to produce high-quality images and analyze coronary anatomy while ensuring radiation safety.

You will assist during catheterization procedures and help educate staff. Must be licensed RT in the state, ARRT registered, CPR certified, with 2+ years of RT or patient-care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is performed and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• CPR certification required.
• Greater than 2 years' experience as RT and/or patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiographic, digital, processing and viewing equipment for high-quality images.
• Apply principles of radiation safety and protection.
• Act as first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures.
• Review pre-procedural patient assessments and communicate pertinent data to the MD.
• Educate new staff and students in the cath lab and contribute to performance-improvement efforts.
