Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks a Cardiac Services Technologists Manager to provide daily supervisory oversight for the Cath Lab and personnel. Responsibilities include scheduling, workflow coordination, and ensuring timely patient transfers and bed availability with physicians on procedure timelines.

The role supports ongoing staff development, education, and annual competencies, fostering a collaborative, high-quality patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification required or eligible.
• All qualifications indicate patient-care and interventional radiology support.

Responsibilities

• 24/7 accountability for Cardiology Services and Interventional Radiology.
• Coordinate scheduling and daily workflow in the Cath Lab.
• Facilitate patient Transfers to Cath Lab from ER or other facilities.
• Coordinate inpatient bed assignments for Cath Lab patients.
• Communicate with physicians about procedure start times and delays.
• Assist with orientation, performance evaluations and staff education.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Completion from an accredited Radiology program

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
