Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking a Cath Lab/OBL Business Services Coordinator in Lafayette, LA to coordinate office operations and liaison between clinical, revenue cycle, and admin teams, ensuring seamless patient care and business processes.

You will support patient scheduling, insurance authorizations, billing coordination, and financial services, while optimizing operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare business office, revenue cycle, Cath Lab/OBL, or medical practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Cath Lab/OBL business office operations and act as liaison between clinical teams, revenue cycle, and admin departments.
• Support patient scheduling, insurance authorizations, billing coordination, and financial services.
• Verify provider orders, obtain authorizations, monitor claims, assist with denial resolution and appeals.
• Prepare patient cost estimates and collect financial responsibility; assist with payment arrangements and collections.
