Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing and Patient Care Services for the cath/vascular lab. This day-shift role oversees staff, ensures top quality patient care, and supports the manager with budgeting, hiring, and training.

A BSN is required (MSN preferred); RN license in Virginia; BLS within 90 days. RCIS preferred; 1 year of management or 2 years in a leadership RN role, plus 2 years nursing experience. 104k+ salary range noted.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice (required).
• BSN required or MSN preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• 1 year of management experience OR 2 years in a support leadership RN position (required).
• 2 years of nursing experience (required).
• 5+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• 3 years in cath/vascular/procedural areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• supervise patient care staff to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• assist manager with interviewing, hiring, and staff development.
• coordinate department budget, purchasing, and payroll processes.
• serve as a technical/clinical resource and mentor staff.
