Job summary

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to facilitate the organization’s mission, values, and strategic plan at the point of care. The role plans for, leads, coordinates and facilitates quality nursing care for a defined patient population in a dynamic, teaching environment.

The candidate will hold an active Vermont RN license; BSN is preferred and a Master's in nursing management is desirable.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license required.
• BSN preferred; MS in nursing management preferred.
• Three years of nursing experience required.
• Experience as Nurse Manager in Interventional Cardiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate provision of high-quality nursing care.
• Plan for staffing, supplies, and equipment to support patient care.
• Collaborate with administrators and health care teams to improve patient care systems.
