Vascular Centers of America is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist for the Cath Lab in Southfield, MI. This part-time position handles patient check-in, intake paperwork, appointment scheduling, and EMR documentation in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, manage phone lines, and support providers with accurate chart prep while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a patient-first attitude.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Knowledge of medical insurance verification and authorizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Experience managing multiple phone lines and scheduling appointments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist patients with intake paperwork and forms.
• Prepare and organize patient charts prior to procedures.
• Upload and maintain documentation within the EMR system.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Address patient concerns and answer general questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Schedule:

Flexible Part Time Schedule
Minimum requirement of 15–20 hours weekly
1–2 weekends per month required

Requirements:
