Job summary

Vascular Centers of America in Southfield, MI is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist/RCIS/IR Technologist for per diem coverage. The role requires 2+ years in Cath Lab/IR and scrub experience, with knowledge of fluoroscopy and endovascular devices.

Flexible weekday/weekend shifts available; typical shifts 6–12 hours; outpatient setting. You will assist physicians, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure equipment readiness, while maintaining sterile technique and infection control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab, Vascular, or Interventional Radiology.
• 2+ years of vascular or IR scrubbing preferred.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy equipment and lab instruments.
• Experience with angiography and endovascular devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in vascular procedures in the lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
• Operate fluoroscopy machines and maintain sterile fields.
• Collaborate with medical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

Flexible Per Diem Schedule
Weekend and Weekday Shifts available.
Shifts typically run approximately 6-12 hours.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Cath Lab, Vascular, or Interventional Radiology setting required.
• 2+ years of vascular or IR scrubbing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy equipment, vascular procedural instruments, wires, catheters, and lab procedures.
• Experience with angiography, peripheral vascular interventions, balloons, stents, and endovascular devices preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
