Job summary

Texas Health Interventional Radiology Technologists assess, monitor, and respond to patients’ emotional, physical, and psychosocial needs while delivering high-quality care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and IR Lab. You will participate in vascular, biliary and venous-arterial interventions with a focus on patient safety and rapid call response.

Position requires ARRT and RCIS (within 6 months of hire) with BCLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years’ invasive cardiology experience.
• Associate Degree in Applied Science preferred.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technology program; RCIS within 6 months required.
• CLIAFE compliance required for foreign education equivalency.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent with two years of invasive cardiology experience

Accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology (RCIS within 6 months)

CLIAFE compliance

ARRT certification upon hire

GMRT or LMRT preferred

RCES certification upon hire (EP labs)
