Job summary

University Health in Texas is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role involves working with the cardiology team, operating radiographic and hemodynamic equipment, and assisting with related procedures in the lab.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, and an associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or radiology. RCIS is preferred, and eligibility for RCIS/ARRT within 120 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology or completion of a program for radiology technology.
• RCIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions proficiently in all technical aspects of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Assists the cardiology team in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures.
• Operates radiographic equipment and film developing equipment, electrophysiologic and hemodynamic recorder and computer.
