Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support procedures in the cardiovascular lab under physician supervision. The role requires scrubbing and monitoring of physiologic data, with room preparation and instrument tracking responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have ARRT-R, RCIS, and CV lab experience, plus BCLS and ACLS within 30 days. Proficiency with medical software is expected. Work is full-time with dayshift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and RCIS license required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure the procedure room is prepared for the procedure and monitor instrument par levels.
• Participate in department meetings and performance improvement activities and train new staff.
• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. ARRT‑R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred. 3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 6. Proficient computer skills.
