Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Tech in Riverview, FL to join the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team. You will assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures and function independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements include AART or RRT with NBRC credential, BLS, ACLS, and relevant Radiology education or CVT program. The role is full-time with on-site duties and shift 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure AART or RRT and active NBRC credential for RRT.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Education options include CVT program, Radiologic Technology with ARRT, or NBRC credentials plus experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures in Cath Lab/IR.
• Independently function during diagnostic and interventional cases with minimal supervision.
• Work as part of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team.

BayCare is looking for its newest Cath Lab/IR Tech in Riverview, FL.The Cath Lab/IR Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification:

• AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required
• BLSand ACLS is required

Education:

• Required Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Graduate of CVT Program and No Experience OR 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education

Experience:

• Required experience is 1 year - Related Field; Or - 3 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program

Facility: BayCare Health System, Interventional Services-SJS

Location: St Josephs South

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
