Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to perform procedures and support the cardiac catheterization laboratory team. You will verify orders, communicate with physicians, and ensure timely patient throughput according to policy and training.

You will maintain accurate medical records, participate in quality initiatives, and assist in budgeting for the unit. The role requires BLS, ACLS preferred, and strong ECG and anatomy knowledge.

Qualifications

• ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiovascular procedures and ensure timely patient throughput.
• Document medical records accurately for invasive procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and care team as needed.
• Support quality improvement and budgeting processes.
• Maintain patient records security and compliance.
