Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking staff for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup, sterility, and timely medical records for each patient. You will train personnel, lead within the cardiovascular team, and participate in quality initiatives.

The role requires handling emergency calls, performing angiography and interventional procedures, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Strong English communication and clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry concepts and procedures.
• Ability to monitor vital signs with clinical equipment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Office products.
• Must read/write/speak conversational English.
• Preparing/positioning patients and selecting parameters accurately.
• Preparing/administrating contrast media and meds per regulations.
• Observing procedures and updating protocols as needed.
• Following radiation safety procedures.
• Performing specialized imaging procedures (angio, vascular, interventional).
• Ensuring activities comply with regulatory standards.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures (preferred).
• Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures (preferred).
• Knowledge of peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures (preferred).
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures (preferred).
• Basic EKG interpretation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate medical records for each patient.
• Trains and supervises new personnel.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and safety policies.
• Maintains accurate medical records following documentation processes.
• Demonstrates leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and calls as scheduled.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Verifies orders and communicates with physicians as needed.
