Job summary

BayCare Health System in the Tampa area seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team. You will assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures and function independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include scrubbing for cardiac caths and pacemaker implants, monitoring with the Hemodynamic System, and being on call for emergent procedures. Requires active BLS and ACLS certification and relevant education/experience.

Qualifications

• Active BLS & ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum: one of five education/experience pathways listed above

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in for procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
• Using Hemodynamic System to monitor patient and document procedure
• On call for emergent procedures

Associates in Respiratory + NBRC RRT + 1 year Cath Lab exp

CVT Program/Degree + No Experience

3 years Cath Lab experience in lieu of education

RCIS and/or RCES + 1 year Cath Lab exp in lieu of education
