Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab CVT Charge to monitor complex interventional cases and structural heart procedures, acting as a scrub assistant under direction of the director/manager. The role includes education and mentoring of students and new hires, with a Full Time, Day Shift schedule and on-call duties.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, with RCIS or RCES certifications within 12 months

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in lieu of education; RCIS or RCES certifications required within 12 months of hire.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT or RCIS/RCES; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred ARRT licensure in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedures in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral studies and structural heart procedures, and serve as a scrub assistant.
• Educate and mentor students and new hires in the cath lab environment.
• Provide quality, safe patient care with day shift responsibilities and on-call requirements.

Education

Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy

Five years’ experience in lieu of degree

RCIS Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

RCES Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

ARRT Certification (preferred)

BLS
