Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer literacy including keyboarding, data entry, email and hospital intranet.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving.
• Clerical, customer service or communications experience desirable.
• Bilingual skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in arriving patients.
• Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments.
• Communicate clearly and timely with health care team, patients, families and visitors.
• Perform service functions including triaging/answering calls.
• Assist with concerns and use of MyWall.
• Work under direct supervision and uphold NYULH Core Values.
