Qualifications

• Illinois RN license currently active.
• BSN required; Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years in supervisory/leadership roles (e.g., charge nurse).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance, leadership and support to nursing staff while ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.
• Function as the department charge nurse, including staff assignments, patient flow, bed placement and coordination of add-on cases.
• Lead daily huddles, communicate department priorities and address workflow and patient safety concerns.
• Manage staff schedules, time and attendance, performance and day-to-day staffing needs.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and support staff education, quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
