Sentara is hiring a Part Time Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) in Norfolk, VA. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, with 2-3 weekdays, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health sciences program (diploma/associate/bachelor) or licensed EMT/paramedic.
• ACLS training must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience or training in cardiovascular diagnostic/therapeutic procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Perform baseline patient assessments and monitor response during procedures.
• Provide patient care and ensure safety and comfort in the lab.
• Act as first assistant during diagnostic and interventional catheterization.
