Job summary

DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women’s Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to perform technical aspects of cardiac catheterization under supervision, ensuring patient safety and optimal procedure performance.

The role requires an associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent training, BCLS certification, and ACLS/PALS eligibility within 6–12 months depending on department needs. This is a full-time, on-site position in Detroit.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Training Program.
• Registration with NBCT or equivalent preferred.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS as applicable within specified hire timelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all technical aspects of cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assess parameters and performance during procedures.
• Make value judgments regarding patient condition and safety.
