Job summary

Henry Ford Health Jackson campus is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech I to join the Cardiovascular Lab team. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, performing scrub or monitor functions and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of an Allied Health program, at least one year of clinical experience, and BCLS with ACLS within six months. You will operate specialized equipment and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health program with relevant cardiology/vascular focus.
• Minimum one year clinical experience, preferably in Cath Lab or Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing Scrub or Monitor functions.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies in the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Ensure patient safety by recognizing arrhythmias and responding per emergency protocols.
• Operate external cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators as needed.

Education

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Allied Health program (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Cardiac/Vascular Sonography)
