Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking an Angiography Technologist to perform fluoroscopy and cine in the Cath Lab, ensuring optimal imaging and patient care. The role spans primary, secondary, and scrub-support duties in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting across Legacy sites.

Requirements include radiologic technology education, state licensure (LRT), ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS. Experience in Cath Lab and knowledge of equipment are essential. Competitive pay ranges reflect level and shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
• Two years of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization experience (Tech III).
• One year of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization experience (Tech II).
• Proficiency with Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment.
• Knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure (LRT).
• Current ARRT-R registration.
• BLS for Provider certification; ACLS recommended.
• Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs fluoroscopy and acquisition (cine) during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician orders.
• Performs secondary and tertiary roles (scrub assistant, monitoring) during procedures.
• Act as preceptor for Angiography Technologist I and II orientees.
• Give a presentation or participate in yearly education or quality improvement project in the Catheterization Laboratory.
