Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Cardiovascular/Angio Technologist to support Cardiologists and Radiologists across the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during invasive procedures and caring for pacemaker/defibrillator implants.

The position requires an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology degree, ARRT/RCIS certification or eligibility, ACLS within 6 months, and 2+ years of related

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program is required.
• ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required, OR RCIS (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) required; registry must be obtained within 90 days if eligible.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
• Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• 24 CME credits required bi-annually.
• Mandatory AIDS education.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, IR and EP Lab.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Care for patients with pacemaker/defibrillator implants and non-cardiac IR procedures (nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, port placement).
