Job description

Interventional Cardio/Angio Technologist

Pay range: $52.80 - $83.26 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $15,000 for new hires with experience.

Full‑time position: 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week. 10‑hour shifts including call duties for urgent cases and coverage of overnight and weekend off‑hours.

We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills and preferred laboratory experience, who can multitask, stay organized, and deliver excellent care efficiently and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures in Interventional Radiology and Cath lab.
• Provide scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
• Support angiograms with or without stent placement (cardiac, vascular, cerebral) and complex neurointerventional procedures such as aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting, and thrombectomy.
• Assist with other IR procedures including nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placement.
• Maintain high patient‑care standards while multitasking, staying organized, and communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and state certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and state certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS).
• Must obtain applicable registration within 90 days of hire if registry eligible.
• Current CPR certification required upon hire.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
• Previous cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, or electrophysiology experience preferred.
• 24 Continuing Medical Education credits required bi‑annually.
• Mandatory AIDS education.
