Job summary

Wheeler Machinery is seeking a full-time Service Technician in Hurricane, UT. You will disassemble and inspect Caterpillar components, ensuring timely flow of jobs through the shop with quality within Cat flat rates.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, applying knowledge of SIS and Cat components, quality checking during assembly, ordering parts, and assisting the team to push jobs through the shop. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Knowledge of Cat SIS systems.
• Safety minded and vigilant about safety procedures.
• Have tools up to ¾ drive standard and metric.
• At least 3-4 years of Caterpillar components experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and determine reusability.
• Knowledge of SIS and Cat components.
• Quality check components during assembly.
• Collaborate with team to move jobs through the shop.
• Order parts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
