Job summary

Wheeler Machinery is seeking a full-time Service Technician for the Salt Lake City, UT location. The technician will disassemble components, inspect them, and prepare an add list in a timely manner, ensuring work flows through the shop with quality.

All tasks will be performed within Cat flat rate guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma, knowledge of Cat SIS, safety mindset, and experience with Caterpillar components; the role requires tools up to ¾ drive (standard and metric)

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Knowledge of Cat SIS.
• Safety minded attitude is essential.
• Have all tools up to ¾ drive standard and metric.
• At least 3-4 years of Caterpillar components experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and determine reusability.
• Quality check components while they are being assembled.
• Work with others to move the job through the shop.
• Order parts.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
