Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide, a leading global air cargo, passenger and leasing operator, is hiring for an inventory/warehouse role in Chicago. The position handles receiving, binning, shipping, and provisioning catering supplies, while performing regular cycle counts and ensuring inventory accuracy across multiple sites.

You'll use MS Office tools daily, operate forklifts, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions.
• 2+ years forklift experience preferred.
• Previous airline experience preferred.
• Must pass required trainings and obtain airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, binning, shipping and issuing supplies and equipment.
• Preplan commissary and catering supplies based on aircraft rotations.
• Conduct inventory checks at catering vendor and on aircraft.
• Verify accurate and operable catering equipment on each flight.
• Ensure inventory is prepared and delivered to downline caterers.
• Maintain and update inventory in the computer system.
• Monitor shortages and coordinate with HQ Catering department.
• Operate forklifts to move materials in the warehouse.
