Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Dining Associate in Brick Township, NJ to support patient nutrition by assisting with menu selections and coordinating with the Food and Nutrition Department to meet individual dietary needs.

You will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure meals are nutritious and satisfactory, while delivering compassionate patient-centered service in a hospital setting.

• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Customer service skills
• Proficiency with basic computer skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs

• Food service experience

The Catering to You - Patient Dining Associate is responsible for assisting our patients with menu selections and works hand-in-hand with our Food and Nutrition Department. This individual will work closely with our clinical staff regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements and use this knowledge to cater to specific patient requests and needs all the while keeping meals nutritious and satisfactory.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
