Compass Group USA in Lisle, IL is hiring a Catering Senior Captain for a full-time campus dining operation. The role supervises the catering department, assists in staffing, and ensures high-quality service at functions. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages as needed.

Essential duties include coordinating with function leaders and maintaining sanitation and safety. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM with some weekends; pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of catering supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver's license may be required where state law applies.
• Ability to manage events and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in the performance appraisal process.
• Determines workload requirements from catering orders and coordinates setup.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements and changes.
• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions and returns used items.
• Ensures proper presentation, sanitation, safety, and customer service throughout.
