Job Summary

Coordinates patient meal service and special requests for the Catering to You Program. Ensures staff are trained and properly staffed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees systems to meet strategic and operational goals of Catering to You.
• Supervises catering associates.
• Ensures menu alternatives for dietary restrictions, allergies, cultural, and religious preferences are available.
• Interacts with nursing staff, evaluates patient meal service daily.
• Responds to patient needs and resolves concerns promptly.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient rights per HIPAA.
• Complies with regulatory standards including JCAHO and HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
