Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California is looking for a full-time Catering Supervisor to oversee event spaces under the department manager, train and supervise catering team members, and ensure service excellence across weddings, conferences, and onsite dining.

You will uphold standards for food preparation and presentation, supervise alcohol service, assist guests, and maintain clean, stocked workstations while coordinating transportation across the property as needed.

Competenze

• Six months’ experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work accurately and courteously in a high-pressure environment.
• Basic math skills to handle cash and inventory.
• No college degree required.

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Catering Supervisor to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As Catering Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the department manager to ensure effective operations of all event spaces, including training and supervision of catering team members.

Pay

$19.00 – $23.00 / hour

More about you

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preferences
• Basic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventory
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
