Job summary

Famous Dave's is seeking a Catering person to assist in preparation, teardown, and cleanup for deliveries and catered events in a timely fashion. Coordinates and sets ups and deliveries, confirms order details and timing, and serves and upsells drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts to wow our Guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have strong communication skills and guest service orientation.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local liquor laws preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain signature items; tour menu and upsell items.
• Run food, bussing, refilling beverages, assist team.
• Operate POS to clock in/out and process orders.
• Ensure orders are packed accurately and reviewed with guests.
• Set up and tear down event site and catering items.
• May drive catering vehicle to events.
