Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Services Director to lead the catering operation across multiple units or a large account. You will oversee the catering team, plan and execute events, and manage budgets and financial goals for the department.

The role requires extensive catering and events experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive sales and client relationships. This is a senior operations position with travel and event-based hours.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of catering/events experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Available to work event-based hours.
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total catering operations including events, menus, pricing, staffing and administration.
• Oversee preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations.
• Develop catering solutions to meet client needs.
• Build and maintain effective client rapport.
• Lead annual catering marketing plan including collateral, sales strategies and budgets.
• Set service and presentation standards and ensure compliance across operations.
• Implement new services to support growth and retention.
• Stay ahead of trends and advise clients and staff on catering products.
• Facilitate delivery of prepared food from banquet event orders.
• Participate in sales, negotiate contracts and assist with special events.
• Train catering staff to uphold standards and meet targets.
• Manage sales, food and labor targets and ensure successful event execution.
• Report catering revenue, expenses and receivables accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food, occupational and environmental safety policies.
