SSA Consulting Group seeks a catering server to provide guests with friendly, efficient service during events. You will coordinate with kitchen and expo staff to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction, while maintaining presentation and safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive, energetic attitude and teamwork are essential for success in fast-paced banquet settings.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem solving/decision making with organizational ability.
• Able to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player, personable, professional, upbeat and energetic, takes initiative.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 10–35 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests according to the requested serving style with supervision.
• Coordinate with expos and kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders.
• Know menu items and dietary/allergy information for guests.
• Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable guest experiences.
• Oversee quality, product levels, and inventory of items.
• Fulfill guest needs quickly and resolve complaints effectively.
• Setup, execute, breakdown, and cleanup of catered events.
