Job summary

HUNGRY Marketplace is seeking drivers to support our Boston-area catering events. You will pick up equipment at the hub, transport to client sites, and set up or drop off while engaging with guests. This gig-based role pays about $24 per hour for on-demand shifts Monday to Friday, with preference for Tue/Wed/Thu.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday preferred (8am-2pm)
• Pay: gig-based, equivalent to approximately $24/hr
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
  • Pick up equipment at hub in Newton, pick up food from vendor, transport to client sites throughout Boston area and complete designated set up or drop off.
  • Host catering events for our business clients throughout the Boston area
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Ability to choose when and how much you work.
